Basic Operation/Overview:
DEFINITION: Performs, under general supervision, a variety of entry-level administrative support duties requiring knowledge of department/department and/or program support duties according to standard procedures on behalf of designated management personnel.

CLASS CHARACTERISTICS: The Special Administrative I classification is the first level of the Special Administrative series, which consists of four (4) levels. At the "Administrative Specialist I" level, administrative and commercial entry-level activities are usually performed, such as working with customers.
